Pedro Liberty 1250/1450
In a new boating concept, Pedro is bringing the comforts of your own home to the water - without restrictions. The Pedro Liberty means freedom of living and mobility.
Maximum comfort
The starting point of the concept is maximum comfort and convenience. For example, the floor of this new boat is on one level. The superstructure is oblong with straight walls, which makes optimum use of the living area. The first model, which will be 12.5m long, has a living area of more than 30 m2 (!) plus a comfortable spacious deck on the front of the boat. The client can determine the layout to his own specifications. The interior can be filled with furniture and kitchen appliance, just as you’re used to at home.
The boat has a steel hull and a composite superstructure with a high insulation value. It has standard a central heating system and additionally floor heating in the bathroom. This, including double glazing in the maintenance free frames makes the ship suitable for use 365 days a year.
Convenient sailing
The ship was designed together with Martin Bekebrede, a well-known designer of motor yachts for many years. The excellent sailing properties of a Pedro were an important condition for this boat, too. The underwater hull is designed without making concessions, and that is a distinct difference with houseboats for example.
Another special detail is the use of a spud-pole system. They enable you to anchor the boat, for example when you need to wait for a bridge, without mooring. The integrated spud poles go down with one push on the button and fix the boat in the bed. One of life’s little luxuries!
The boat can be delivered with different propulsion systems. It is standardly equipped with a Volvo diesel engine, but can also be propelled hydraulically or electrically.
The model is available in various dimensions. Its air draught is 2.5 metres, which means many inland waterways with fixed bridges remain accessible.
